2019 Colorado Manufacturing Awards Winners Announced — Tharp Custom Cabinetry Among Them!

“Our competitors build boxes. We build an experience.” is what Garth Rummery, president of Tharp Custom Cabinetry had to say about why he thinks his company was recognized as the Builder/ Construction Company of the Year at the Colorado Manufacturing Awards.

The 2019 hosting of the Colorado Manufacturing Awards (CMAs) was the fourth annual hosting of the event and brought in companies from all over Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico to honor the hard work that the manufacturing industry has done to provide growth in the region.

The CMAs are an opportunity to recognize excellence and innovation across the region. It is the only awards program of its kind to bring business leaders together to celebrate their reshaping of America’s industrial legacy.

Nominated by company employees, industry peers, colleagues, or other parties; companies are offered the chance to be recognized as a leader in the industry. The ceremony recognizes and honors standout manufacturers in a variety of arenas. Manufacturing is how wealth and healthy growth is brought to communities, and Colorado is booming!

To be recognized and awarded over fierce competitors including the other category finalists — Encore Electric and RK — is both an honor and validation that our team’s hard work and dedication to detail can pay off. Showcased among industry leaders such as these, is a true testament to the innovations in manufacturing technologies employed at Tharp Custom Cabinetry.

While the trophy will proudly be displayed in our corporate office, it is our team of expert cabinet crafters that make this possible. Every day, they take the finest hunks of wood and, using quality techniques and skilled craftsmanship, they handcraft them into custom cabinetry that is worthy to be hung in the most beautiful modern homes and offices and featured in national print.

This award acknowledges our accomplishments and holds special meaning, but is in no way a token of time to take pause. We will use it as confirmation that our practices and integrity are valued and launch into the new year with vigor.
