During the month of September 2023, Boulder will be alive with Month of Modern (MoM). Founded as a celebration of architecture, design, lifestyle, art and culture—MoM’s mission is to cultivate a conversation about Colorado modern, and present the Boulder region as one of the nation’s most vibrant hubs of modern design.

Over the course of 4 weeks MoM will be hosting featured speakers, fire-side chats, film nights, thought-provoking panels, and a fantastic wrap party – all designed to educate, inspire, and delight.

The MoM KICKOFF PARTY is on September 7 th and the MoM WRAP PARTY is on September 28 th.

Not only does Month of Modern present the Boulder region as one of the nation’s most vibrant hubs of modern design, but it also partners with non-profit organizations to help raise funds for a particular cause. This year, MoM is pleased to announce their partnership with Slöyd Experience, an organization dedicated to strengthening children’s character through woodworking, where their sole aim is to foster self-reliance, nurture concentration, coach perseverance, encourage neatness, and instill an appreciation for labor – all of which will prepare them for their future.
